Gotham City is caught between a civil war between Spanish revolutionaries and the corrupt leadership of the Nation of San Sebastián. Batman and Wonder Woman work to stop the fighting and a shipment of jet parts from reaching the wrong hands. #Blazes! #ZanyHaney and Aparo work their magic again!
In order to bust a ring where wanted criminals acquire new identities, Batman recruits Deadman’s aid. Deadman possesses one of the ringleaders, but falls for the comely co-ringleader of the ring. #Blazes! It’s another #ZanyHaney story with immaculate Jim Aparo art in Brave and the Bold #104.
Teenagers trying to protect a dilapidated suburb of Gotham City, Batman and the Teen Titans side with the teenagers and aid them in renovating the suburb, then attempt to stop a crime lord from upending their efforts. #Blazes! It’s another B&B by #zanyHaney, Jim Aparo with Neal Adams on Art.
#Blazes! It’s the 100th issue of the Brave and the Bold by #ZanyHaney and Jim Aparo. The story is a bit incredulous in spots, but it is a fun story. I do dislike how Haney portrays Black Canary in this issue, though. I think in later appearances of the title, she is portrayed much better.
Reading the Jim Aparo book from @twomorrows.bsky.social has inspired me to read his Brave and the Bold stories, starting with his first issue, no. 98. Crazy, creepy story that fits in with this title and probably the Phantom Stranger title. #ZanyHaney can write some interesting horror stories.
Today brings another episode of The Brave and the Bob! I’ve been wanting to talk about this wild issue for quite a long time, and Terry O’Malley was the perfect guest cohost for it! #comicbooks #ZanyHaney #DCcomics
