A provisional proposal from #COP19 recommends moving #𝐻𝑦𝑝𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑠 𝑧𝑒𝑏𝑟𝑎 to Appendix I, banning the trade in all wild specimens. The iconic #ZebraPlecos from the #Xingu river has been listed in Appendix III #CITES since 2016.
