Scrubbing IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) documents is not unique to measles and not unique to Canada. The US, UK & EU have universally wiped any of the NPI measures for disease control and disappeared any mention of schools, isolation of the sick or N95 respirators.

The real problem with our use of simple NPIs and international travel quarantine to eradicate SARS in 2003, is nobody was inconvenienced. Therefore nobody remembers how easy it was to control H1N1 in 2009, MERS in 2012 and Ebola in 2014.
