First look at #AbbessGarden

Screenshot of The Abbess Garden Playtest on steam. At the top, there is an art with an abbey in a valley filled with trees, the main character Agnès on the right. The Steam interface has a green "Play" button and two patch notes.
It's just the playtest for now, but seeing The Abbess Garden on Steam feels cool!
(Don't look for the Steam page, it's not there yet ^^ This is only for alpha testers, it's still possible to register here: docs.google.com/forms/d/1mgX...)

To start the year peacefully, I went back to The Abbess Garden by drawing plants for the in-game botany book this morning ✨ (and some programming ;))
The book fills itself when the player discovers a new plant's stage over their exploration and months🌿

Working on the gardening gameplay, adding some watering animation. Very WIP, but it's progress! The plants on screen are calendula (marigold) and senecio (groundsel) 🌿#indiegamedev #gamedev #abbessgarden
Comparative screenshots before/after. Both are a woman in Blender. She is wearing a peasant dress with warm colours and a headscarf. On the "before", she has more standard proportions, while on the "after", she is a bit more too. Here texture is also more detailed.
I am trying to improve the main character of my game to give it more personality and make it fit more with the 2D art. What do you think?
