The manager spotted the suspect stuffing meat under his clothes, apparently stocking up to start his own deli. When the manager confronted him outside, the suspect turned around, put his hand out as if holding something, and threatened the manager, saying he would hurt him if he didn't back off. Officers tracked him down a short distance away and detained him without incident. However, the backpack he had on in the store was missing. It was soon found behind a parked car, packed with multiple packs of sausages, knives, and a variety of random gadgets. When asked why he took the items, he said he thought he didn't have any money on him. After checking his wallet, he realized he did, so he ditched the backpack. Sometimes you just need to check your wallet before diving into a life of crime. Ultimately, Hualong He of Monterey Park, CA, was arrested and booked in APD Jail for robbery.
This was posted to our neighbor city's police departments facebook page. This guys life is going to be ruined by this fascist department.
Remember: If you see someone stealing food, no you didn't.

Excellent thread. Ableism in the carceral system is rampant. Disabled people are only surpassed by Black men in prevalence of police brutality and murders by cops. The intersection of disability and Black men is exceptionally deadly. This is why we fight to #AbolishThePolice and #AbolishPrisons.
