Set in New Orleans with a wild cast of characters. A novel with many threads that tie together satisfyingly. Hilarious, sad, but ultimately redeeming. The backstory of the author and novel is pretty fascinating. Loved it.

As always, an amazing read with characters leaping off the page in an absurdist adventure in low brow delusions of an educated fat sloth thinking everything in the world is out to get him. And it almost does.
