Meet Aerine, the embodiment of the "Aegirine" concept.
In 1834, priest and mineralogist Hans Morten Thrane Esmark discovered her on Låven in Langesundsfjorden, Norway. He named her after Ægir, the Norse sea god, as the site was by the shore.
