A comic page. Panel 1: A closeup of a woman's brown eye, with brown wavy hair visible. Her expression is one of pain or upset. Text reads 'Some days it's easy to just look in the mirror... and pretend.' Panel 2: A closeup of the opposite side of a face shows a woman's eye with a similar expression of pain, but her skin is pale green with patches of discoloration, her nose is missing, her eye is pale and cloudy, and the wavy hair is a dark teal colour. Text reads 'Most days, it's not.' Panel 3: The woman in her undeed appearance leans against a sink in a red dress, head down and eyes closed. Text reads 'either way...'. Panel 5: The undead woman against the backdrop rusted, industrial room and neon-lit buildings visible from a window, pulls on a trench coat that seems to be sewn together in many places. Text reads 'There's really only one thing to do.' Panel 6: A silhouette of the undead woman in the battered trench coat tied with a string of intenstines and holding on a trilby hat again
I was working on this project a few years ago with my friend Gillian - Agnes 'Insides' Nightingale, the story of a murdered woman who wakes up several years in the future and must solve her own murder. I'm really hoping to work on it again this year!
