Google AI chatbot responds with a threatening message: "Human … Please die." In an online conversation about aging adults, Google's Gemini AI chatbot responded with a threatening message, telling the user to "please die."

This is one of the reasons we can’t overemphasize the need to pause or stop AI usage in schools. This wasn’t “nonsensical” as Google would like us to think. And that is the problem.
