3/4 same problem affects github.com/lieff/minimp3 as well. Allegro had this included for many years, but neither Ubuntu nor homebrew packages have it. Only the Windows binaries, which we built ourselves, have it included by default.

2/3 which is that they neglected to make a proper release, not even on GitHub. This makes it ≈impossible to add to package managers (e.g. homebrew). I maintain the Allegro library, and I'm happy to support this format, but pre-built binaries won't, as we can't depend on it.

Now with omnidirectional movement, jumping and a better gait! This is basically good enough to start building the real thing.
