When Bryce Crawford films a "miracle," is he seeking the glory of the Father in secret, or is he seeking the "views" of the world? When Alisa Childers draws a line in the sand, is she inviting the "weary and heavy-laden" to find rest, or is she building a wall of intellectual pride? If these teachers have made you more angry at your neighbor than you are grieved by your own sin, they are not preaching the Gospel. They are preaching a different gospel—a gospel of self-righteousness, a gospel of "Christian Nation" idolatry, and a gospel of man-made certainty. Stop looking to the "clanging cymbals" of the internet. They may be loud, but they are hollow. Go back to the Sermon on the Mount. Look at the Jesus who didn't come to win an argument, but to lay down His life.
