#ancientidolseight Pages 9 & 10 are complete!

I had so much fun drawing these two pages, especially page 10.

I'm definitely going to finish the next four pages of #ancientidolseight this weekend. This was just a really crazy week with a lot of personal stuff going on so I didn't have much time to draw.

#ancientidolseight I definitely won't have pages 9 & 10 finished tonight... I will try to get them finished by Thursday.

I'm very proud of page 7... Page 8 a little less. Page 8 was especially hard for me to draw.

Last night I finished page 7 of #ancientidolseight, and most of the sketching of page 8. I'll have page 8 done for sure tonight, then post both of them this evening.

Say hello to my webcomic, Ancient Idols Eight #ancientidolseight 6 pages are complete so far!

Miboon bites the creature to defend Namjoon. Yaar flies away in fear and pain. Miboon tosses her talon necklace to Namjoon and he catches it. Miboon explains that the creature which just attacked in a hellbat, and that these hellbats eat humans. They must find it immediately. Namjoon agrees without hesitation. Miboon tells Namjoon the transformation spell.

Namjoon calls out the rest of the transformation spell. He begins to transform, his body enveloped in a green glow and green colored essence from his magic spiraling around him.

A larger amount of detail in these two pages. Overall I'm really happy with them, but I'm always open to feedback :)

#ancientidolseight Fun fact: Ancient Talon Spirits have one of two natures: Peaceful, or Destructive.

These natures drive their behavior. Peaceful ATS are kind, heroic, gentle or wise. Destructive ATS will attack and feed on humans, and are typically angry by default.

Namjoon opens his back door and walks outside. The bushes continue to rustle. Namjoon says, "Just an animal". A creature steps from the bushes and says telepathically, "Not exactly." Namjoon shouts, "The hell?" The creature replies, "Spirit."

The creature stares up at the moon and the increasing wind. The creature says "Well, ancient talon spirit is a better thing to call me. Miboon is my name." Namjoon thinks, "I'm hearing it's voice in my head." Namjoon says, "I don't get it", and Miboon replies, "What's not to get?" Another strange creature perches on the backyard fence. Namjoon yells "The fuck is that!?" as the creature flies toward him. The creature is bat-like, with a gaping mouth full of teeth. Namjoon is frozen fearfully, while Miboon jumps in to defend.

Wind howls late at night. Namjoon is writing in a notebook. A creature is watching him from the trees. The creature says, "Interesting..." A strange necklace rings, breaking Namjoon's focus on his work. Namjoon states, "What was..."

The strange necklace rings again. Namjoon is consumed by the sound. He states, "That noise...". Something jumps into the bushes. Namjoon asks, "Who's there?"

Summary: Spirits called ancients have escaped into the human world. Some are destructive, some are peaceful. Miboon, a peaceful ancient, meets Namjoon and leads him on a quest to deal with the destructive ancients and send the good ones home.

#ancientidolseight 85% done with sketching out page 4. This page is taking longer because it's more detailed than the first three. I also really enjoy drawing action scenes as opposed to more passive scenes like in page one.

The final version of Yaar. Yaar is one of the ancient talon spirits, he is also a creature known as a "hellbat". The story will explain that in next week's pages.

I think I'm going to upload 4 pages of of #ancientidolseight per week (2 spreads). Should I upload all 4 every Sunday, or should I upload them individually on different days, like Sun/Tues/Thurs/Sat? Or upload each spread on like a Tues. and Thurs.? Trying to think of what's easiest.
