"What the-" Yoongi whispered to himself, as Jeongguk started making himself comfortable on the other side of the mattress. It almost looked like he was building a pillow fort around him. "You good over there?" "Almost," Jeongguk huffed out and pulled the covers over his assortment of pillows. It was then that he pulled a sleep mask out of nowhere and slipped it onto his forehead. "Okay, I'm ready for lights out." Yoongi stared at him in disbelief and amazement. There were little bunnies on the sleep mask. "Do you perhaps have trouble falling asleep?" Jeongguk frowned back at him. "Not anymore, no. Not since I have these pillows here, and this one there and then this one I'm hugging with my legs while I sleep. I don't really need the mask anymore but I like the pressure on my eyelids." Yoongi couldn't help but smile. Jeongguk might actually be the eighth wonder of the world. There was no way someone as wonderful could just simply exist like this. "I see." He turned around to turn off the lamp on his nightstand, the only thing that had been illuminating the sight that was Jeongguk in his little nest.

"If it still hurts this much after a year, you might actually need surgery. You've had my health insurance since June. We could've figured something out." "I just thought it might go away eventually," Yoongi replied sheepishly.

As Hyunjin and Yeonjun went to help Jeongguk figure out what to wear instead, Yoongi found himself stuck in the living room with Wooyoung shoving his phone into Yoongi's face. "This is my boyfriend, San." He swiped to the third picture of a buff guy with kind eyes, a soft smile and dimples. "He's so hot, isn't he?" Wooyoung showed him another picture, this one of San flexing his muscles at the gym. "God, don't you wanna just eat him up?" Yoongi wanted to leave this conversation, most of all. "Well-" "We had a bit of a meet-cute, because..." Thankfully, Yoongi was great at zoning out without alerting other people. He just hoped there wasn't a quiz at the end of this. "Wooyoung-ah, are you boring people with your love story again?" Yeonjun asked, when they walked back into the living room.

I am SO close to finishing the second chapter of #andmydarlin and I’m so excited but at the same time I don’t have a lot of time to write these days that I’m afraid I can’t even give an estimate of when I can post it 🥹

"It's gonna be really weird when you're married," he said nevertheless. When his friends made questioning noises, he paused his game and turned around. "I don't know, it's just a foreign concept to me." Taehyung raised his eyebrows. "And yet, you're married yourself." Jeongguk shrugged with one shoulder. "Yeah, but that's not real." He had to keep reminding himself of that these days. What he and Yoongi had wasn't a real marriage and it had a deadline. In a few months, it was all going to be history.
