Why is #AnthemBCBS out here trying to tell me to commit a felony just so I can give them information so they can pay out the claim for my deceased mother's cancer treatment that it took them 10 months to give a reason for the denial?

Fuck #AnthemBCBS. They are terrible to deal with and do not seem to care how much extra work they dump on their customers when trying to get their medical costs covered. Their CEO makes 20 million a year while those given their services via employers pay out of pocket for garbage coverage.

Note: #AnthemBCBS (nicely) told me "hospitals can bill what they want." My skimming of insurance guidelines - including Medicare's - says if one procedure is "integral to" the other, hospitals can't bill separately.

Wondering why? I just got a ER bill for an extra $1,350 because #AnthemBCBS is trying to deny coverage for the doctor that treated me in the ER claiming he’s out of network. I have a PPO there is no out of network and the ER was preferred by my insurance.

So #AnthemBCBS wanted to create an arbitrary cutoff on surgery times, after which they would no longer cover anesthesia costs. Because when you’re having surgery, you definitely want the person keeping you asleep and pain-free to stop getting paid. Part 1:
