The Howard 118 that had the burned up resistor is coming back to life. Halfway through the circuit, most of the resistors and capacitors in the power supply and audio amp were 100% out of tolerance, plus there were a couple dead tubes, a couple shorts, and one broken wire. #antiqueradio

Almost done working on this 1940s Philco chassis. Most of the original capacitors were no longer in tolerance, some were starting to fail, those are all replaced. Resistors were checked and all are in spec. Next is the power on test, voltage checks, and if all is good, alignment. #antiqueradio
