This woman's eyes are not hard to miss, what with their bright green glow, but Yerentai can only spare them a few seconds of his time. (Utterly lifeless, those eyes. Excruciatingly.) She'd nearly given Yerentai a hole to his stomach before his partners caught her movement. The woman wields what looks like both a long stick and a blade in one, carved sharp at its already bloodied end. Her upper half is covered by wrappings that seem to be bandages, tight around her chest and abdomen. The trio can see no further than that, but like Yerentai, Mönkhbat and Nergüi can conclude she's in a poor state. Mönkhbat would rather have questions wait, as it's clear this woman has labored tirelessly, but he is infuriated. To kill the gedan in such a careless way was one thing, but to attempt harm on Yerentai has Mönkhbat's pulse racing into a swirl of uncontrollable anger.
"Whence do you hail?" Mönkhbat asks, voice hard and impenetrable. He is now stood in front of his partners with his spear pointed down at the woman whom he receives no response from. "Answer me!" Her dull eyes flicker away from Yerentai. As soon as they land on Mönkhbat, a barely recognizable reaction flits across her face. So minuscule he could hardly call it surprise - but that's what it is. She is surprised by him. More than that, however, an inhuman darkness coats her gaze as she glares at him, eyes unblinking and unmoved by his rage. As though challenging him to move even a ilm closer. As if finding grim familiarity where there is none, with all the more reason for her to mercilessly claw her way through Mönkhbat's flesh into his insides. The khan swallows.
