Day 7 of #aprilterrestrial2026 Banecraw are myriapods with a leathery covering made from the creature's previous molts.
The covering works well as camouflage and armour but with little need considering the intimidating silhouette a Banecraw can have when climbing a tree.

I went back to redesign an oldie.
Hellmite an industrial termite of sorts that produce heat continuously, some weaponize it others use it for creation.
Just like eusocial creatures they have large colonies comprised of a queen and many, many castes of subordinates.
