Time to return home. Yesterday #Worldsoilday we wrapped up #LAM1 #IPCC and I’m exhausted! Was a very fruitful and gave us the opportunity to set up a solid stepping stone for the next assessment #AR7. My WG2 is the best as also my mates from chapter 14. ❤️

Great start of @ipcc.bsky.social #AR7 main reports with 1st ever joint first lead author meeting (#LAM1) of Working Groups I, II & III! Fantastic atmosphere! Amazing organisation of technical support units, with >600 participants! We also had a get-together of the Switzerland-based participants!

A UK phycology study points to a need for better wording choices by the IPCC to communicate climate risks. In the study words like “unlikely” suggested division or skepticism which is not the situation.

#IPCC63 is convening in Lima for the second half of its scheduled four-day meeting. Reaching agreement on the workplan for #AR7 is a key goal for this meeting, but the Panel is also working through essential business, including taking stock of efforts to strengthen inclusivity.
