Jayce’s childhood home is about as big as the entire building where Vander grew up, not to mention the generous amount of land around it. Vander briefly wonders if they have a groundskeeper as he parks his rusty green sedan and rounds the car to open the door for Jayce.

Vander has been dating Jayce Talis for four months now and the younger man is already pulling away. He’s hiding something from Vander and it’s driving him up the wall. He’s trying not to lose his temper– he’s been working on it in therapy after it was mentioned as a catalyst for his divorce by his ex– but he’s so pissed that Jayce is hiding things from him already. This relationship is so new, they can’t be falling apart already, can they?
Here's a wip for day 4 of rarepair week, because I'm so excited about this one!!! It's so far the longest one out of all of the ones I've written!! Hopefully i can finish it soon so that I can start working on the other days

"You really don't need to do this." Viktoriia stutters. Lest has never been intimidating, why is she nervous now? "Just relax, Viki," Lest says as she guides Viktoria to lay on her back. "What's a little experimentation between friends?" Lest slowly climbs onto Viktoriia's lap, tail flicking behind her with interest. "You promise to tell me if I'm going to far, right?" Lest's voice is laced with genuine concern that somehow puts Viktoriia at ease. If there's anyone she can trust with this, it's Lest. "I promise."
"Lovely" Lest's smile is saccharine but underlined with something almost predatory. She leans down, brushing a strand of hair behind Viktoriia's ear. Amber eyes stare into each other, silently acknowledging the importance of this moment. Lest has always been beautiful, of course, but something about having her so close - smelling her lilac perfume, seeing her soft lips just inches away - has Viktoria seeing her in a new light. "I think it would help-" Viktoria gulps, "if we kissed." "An excellent idea." Lest purrs. She leans closer, their lips millimeters away. "You always were the smart one."
