Rob McConnell Interviews - THOMAS RAZZETO - Did Extraterrestrials Create the Maya Calendar Could one of the most sophisticated ancient timekeeping systems have origins beyond Earth? In this fascinating episode, Thomas Razzeto explores the provocative question: did extraterrestrials play a role in the creation of the Maya calendar? Known for its remarkable precision and complexity, the calendar has long intrigued historians, astronomers, and researchers alike. Drawing from historical records, astronomical knowledge, and alternative theories, Razzeto examines whether the advanced understanding of celestial cycles demonstrated by the ancient Maya could have been influenced by outside intelligence. How did a civilization without modern technology achieve such accuracy—and what might they have known about time, space, and cosmic alignment? This episode delves into the intersection of archaeology, astronomy, and the unexplained, raising questions about the origins of knowledge and the possibility of contact between ancient cultures and extraterrestrial beings. Are these theories rooted in evidence, interpretation, or imagination? And what does it say about humanity’s desire to understand the unknown? Join us for a thought-provoking journey into ancient history and cosmic possibility—where the past may hold clues to mysteries that extend far beyond our world.

Campaigning in Roman times: For #FrescoFriday a painting from Pompeii that was long believed to show the sale of bread. It's thought now to be the free distribution of bread ahead of an election by a politician in a white toga.
