Waiting for the ardgour ferry, I spy the Morrisons van that killed the ferry stores at kilchoan. How long before that service is enshittified? #kilchoan #ardgour #morrisons #enshittification
A moorland glen with some native woodland. There are sheep in the middle distance The background is a long level ridge with snow covered crags and sheltered bowls full of snow. Blue sky and a very brown appearance.

Light over the Lighthouse - Corran Lighthouse, Corran Narrows, Loch Linnhe, #Ardgour
On a trip on the Corran Ferry, crepuscular rays break through quickly moving cloud cover as it passes over the lighthouse at the Corran Narrows.
A long curving shingle beach leads round to a small village of white buildings and behind the village is a mountain scene. There is a person on the beach with a dog but it’s far away so only just noticeable.
Start the week imagining your on a remote highland beach in Morven planning what to do this week. And then tell Musk where to go at the end of it. #Scotland #LandscapePhotography #Photography #Musk #Kingairloch #Ardgour #Morven
The Day’s End - Loch Linnhe, Corran Ferry, #Ardgour
What better way is there to end the day, but with a ferry trip across the Corran Narrows while watching the sun go down behind snow-capped mountains. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful.
Morning is Breaking - Loch Linnhe, Sallachan, #Ardgour
One of the perks of a January morning drive to the Corran Ferry is the sight of a sunrise over loch Linnhe. On this particular cloudy morning the sun managed to break through and light up the sky on the distant horizon.
Ebbing Blue - Corran Narrows, Loch Linnhe, #Ardgour
As the sun sets and the blue hour begins, an ebbing tide flows past the end of the Corran Ferry slipway at Nether Lochaber.
Waning and Rising II - Lochan Doire a' Bhraghaid, Inversanda, #Ardgour A cold January morning with a waning crescent moon sitting above Lochan Doire a' Bhraghaid and the orange of a rising sun colouring its frozen surface and the sky above the hills beyond.

One of my neighbours climbs hills a lot. He also takes photographs when he's up there. He's very good: https://flic.kr/p/XsVARY
