Taken from the rocks near the shoreline towards the settlement of Portuairk. The tide is out revealing a sandy beach dotted with seaweed covered rocks, a fresh water steam runs across the sand towards the sea. Along the shoreline there are several white painted cottages with lush green plots. The low hills behind the houses are part of the Ardnamurchan Caldera (the peninsula is made up of the remnants of three long extinct volcanoes).
