After some sleep, here's the shield in the back, one that's been passed down the L'Amour line for generations. The bandlet gules within the heart being based on one of the supposed heraldic coats of Lance's name sake, Lancelot du Lac in Arthurian myth.

Finally started to post some of my story, written, on Archive of Our Own, since I've not felt like picking up the pen this past month with how it's went.
