a closed zine titled "#makeaterriblecomicday2025" with a Bic pen
jett's hands are flat on a table with a folded sheet of paper and a pen in front of him. he's having a conversation with his inner critic/a voice within him with his thoughts.
jett: "i'll make a zine for make a terrible comic day since i already make zines privately"
critic: "i don't think that's a good idea..."
jett: "why not?"
the page is full of doubts from the critic, some of them loosely redacted but readable.
critic: it's just that... you can't finish in time usually. you don't have a scanner. the format is too terrible and raw. if you just draw your hands, it's less clear that you're a cat because of the arm hair. what if they hate it? what if people ask to see more? what if they like it? your handwriting is hard to read. people will come after you (redacted). they'll kill you with hammers (redacted). this isn't quite how i want things to look. if people know too much about you they will hurt you (redacted)"
jett's hands are drawing and holding the paper. he thinks "hmm..."
jett holds the folded zine up, title already on it.
jett: "that was a lot faster to make with your help. thanks!"
critic: "...wait what? you can't!"
jett: "your participation is compulsory~" (with hearts around it)
made a zine for #makeaterriblecomicday2025 :)
