Winterlandschaft mit Wald und Bergen, tiefer Schnee, im Vordergrund ein See, in dem sich die Landschaft spiegelt. Kein Stern am tiefblauen Himmel, jedoch ein hellblaues Polarlicht. Mitten zwischen dem Bogen des Nordlichts ist der Himmel wie eingeschlagen. Risse ziehen sich wie durch ein zersprungenes Glas. Dahinter das All, tiefschwarz mit Sternen. Und aus diesem schwarzen Loch fällt ein Regenbogen senkrecht auf die Berge.

Manchmal hat man eine Idee, weiß aber nicht so recht, wie man sie umsetzen kann. So wie bei diesem Bild.
Polarlicht und Regenbogen, physikalisch gleichzeitig unmöglich 🤷🏼 also wie bringt man sie zusammen?

Ein surreal abstraktes Bild das die Wand eines verfallenden Hauses zeigt, mit geöffneter Türe. Durch die Türe sieht man den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer. Das Wasser fließt durch die Tür und sammelt sich hinter der Tür. Der Türrahmen verwandelt sich zurück in Bäume, die Blätter und Blüten treiben bereits aus. Links und rechts davon stehen zerbrochene Blumentöpfe in denen blaue Blumen blühen.

Ein langer, anstrengender aber sehr kreativer Tag neigt sich dem Ende zu.
Nach langer Vorarbeit ein meines Erachtens ganz gelungenes Bild vollendet.
Ich hoffe ihr mögt es.

A test piece of white aida fabric on an embroidery frame. A couple of strips of stitching show a gradient of pale to darker blue. Two skeins of wool on either side can be seen, dyed in shades of blue.
