Luckily it can be repaired as it’s only a few months old.

Drove the new (to me) car to the 50 miles to Tesco #AshbyDeLaZouch as I’m gagging for a cuppa tea

Nervous as hell too, snarled at a few Nottingham drivers that dared get too close

Then once back home my day will be filled with looking at car adverts now I’ve had a very satisfying valuation of my written off car by the assessor👍🏻

Excellent munch bar for cakes & bacon butties.

After Co-op shut their main store in #AshbyDeLaZouch we wondered how the small convenience store would cope.
It seems not very well
Long queues & minimal produce.
A lot of elderly folk used to go to the big store.
They’re now faced with a mile hike to Tescos for anything other than basic stuff.
Anyone on or planning to use the A42 near #AshbyDeLaZouch its currently closed between the two junctions (B5493 & A511 due to a truck rollover earlier today.
Had a slow plod around #AshbyDeLaZouch this morning to get my fresh air kicks before heading for the local coffee establishment for a latte & mince pie.

While in there we noticed a dachshund having a wee all over #PudseyBear’s foot
I thought that’s worth a few quid in the bucket👍🏻
Steak n ale pud (new) plus a pint of Stella Arseytwat unfiltered, cheesy gourmet burger & large wine £21 in total.
All very tasty & piping hot
