The first clown look in a black and red split-tone style which would eventually become his trademark. While not wearing whiteface, one eye has red shadow and black liner while the other has black shadow and red liner. The lips are split down the middle like a checker board, red and black on top while black then red on bottom. His hair is black and fading, feathered out in a parted style he wore commonly at the time. He's wearing his black industrial vest with a black zip sweater that has a giant red skull patch sewn into the full chest of.
Ash with shorter spiked hair wearing a zebra-patterned shirt and multiple length necklaces, wearing blue and violet clown makeup, again without any white base. One eye has blue diamonds on top and bottom while the other has lavender diamonds. Eyeliner and shadow are black, and he's wearing mascara to pronounce his eyelashes. His lips are split blue and lavender to match the eyes.
The first clown makeup Ash did in a white, black and red motif that would eventually become his clown character Pierrot L'Amorouse. Simple makeup featuring winged eyeliner on one eye, with a black teardrop coming down the cheekbone. The lips are done up with sharp black protrusions onto the cheek, with a red square in the center of the top lip, and two more caddy-corner to it on the bottom lip. Again wearing his black Industrial vest, with a white shirt under it. His hair, while short, is done in a tri-split fauxhawk
