The image, taken at night, features a bright pink and purple auora borealis taking up most of the frame, with some blue and green effects around the edges. The setting is a rural farm field of mowed hay with tall weedy grass in the foreground, and we can see a low white barn building on the right edge of the image as well as a tree line in the center-distance.

I kinda missed whatever the latest solar storm got up to here in Pennsylvania last week, but whatever happened it seems hard to beat the show we had back in October. This is from Sullivan County in northern Pennsylvania.
