Likely a Sand Goanna. A large lizard growing up to an average 1.4 metres in length and weighing over 6kg. The Sand Goanna features yellow streaks on the sides of the neck" and small flat scales at the orbits. It is covered with scales.
In these images it is crossing a dirt road from left to right, with its head raised up, standing on its front legs. This particular goanna was about 2.5 metres long so well over the average.

Shot this one in the Pilbara area of Western Australia in the middle of nowhere (haha) on a dirt road heading to Gascoyne Junction. It was around 2.5 metres long , (a bit over 8 feet)
