Iranian Woman Banned From Stadium Dies Days After Setting Herself Alight A 29-year-old Iranian woman has died after setting herself alight after being charged for trying to attend a men's soccer match.

Hope fans spare a thought for Iranian woman Sahar Khodayari (AKA Blue Girl) -who trying to enter a stadium disguised as a man to watch football was caught. She faced six months in jail.

After leaving court she set herself alight on 9th Sept 2009.
