Are they connected to big freeways and Train stations?

Sorry, this gives me a scary feeling. Look at the history of my country. Germany should be a constant reminder, what could happen.

TRUMP PARDONS THE WORST
When he [Trump] isn't fawning over authoritarians, Trump spends his time
covering for sex traffickers and pedophiles. ProPublica revealed the Trump
White House intervened in the federal investigation of alleged sex
trafficker and misogynist Andrew Tate, who was also welcomed with open
arms by MAGA when he visited America with his brother. Ghislaine Maxwell
still sits comfortably in a minimum security camp where she's being
pampered and allegedly looking for a commutation of her sentence. Trump
refuses to rule out a pardon for the woman who trafficked and abused
children with Epstein, who said he was Trump's closest friends.
Speaking of pardons, Trump has already released 1,600 insurrectionists,
some of them who have since committed heinous crimes. He also
pardoned his business partner, CZ, who helped him and his family amass
$5 billion, and he's pardoned George Santos, a serial con man who
defrauded his own supporters. Birds of a corrupt feather, fraud and crime
together.

The felon's regime isn't only competitive authoritarian. Stephen Miller is telling ICE they have immunity. That adds a fascist GeStaPo element to what the regime and the Congress Republicans allows to happen in the USA.

Steven Levitsky and Lucan A. Way, Elections Without Democracy - THE RISE OF COMPETITIVE AUTHORITARIANISM, page 53,
Journal of Democracy Volume 13, Number 2 April 2002

«[...] Competitive authoritarianism must be distinguished from democracy on the one hand and full-scale authoritarianism on the other. Modern democratic regimes all meet four minimum criteria:
1) Executives and legislatures are chosen through elections that are open, free, and fair;
2) virtually all adults possess the right to vote;
3) political rights and civil liberties, including freedom of the press, freedom of association, and freedom to criticize the government without reprisal, are broadly protected; and
4) elected authorities possess real authority to govern, in that they are not subject to the tutelary control of military or clerical leaders.

Although even fully democratic regimes may at times violate one or more of these criteria, such violations are not broad or systematic enough to seriously impede democratic challenges to incumbent governments. In other words, they do not fundamentally alter the playing field between government and opposition.

In competitive authoritarian regimes, by contrast, violations of these criteria are both frequent enough and serious enough to create an uneven playing field between government and opposition. Although elections are regularly held and are generally free of massive fraud, incumbents routinely abuse state resources, deny the opposition adequate media coverage, harass opposition candidates and their supporters, and in some cases manipulate electoral results. Journalists, opposition politicians, and other government critics may be spied on, threatened, harassed, or arrested. Members of the opposition may be jailed, exiled, or—less frequently—even assaulted or murdered. Regimes characterized by such abuses cannot be called democratic. [...]»

AUTHORITARIAN POLICE STATE TACTICS FACIAL RECOGNITION TO BE
USED ALONG WITH CHINESE TACTICS
One measure of the strength of authoritarian regimes is what police and
state security forces do when assigned to protests: for example, the
refusal of armed forces to fire on protesters, or an uptick in desertions, can
be a sign that the edifice of collaboration and coercion upon which a
regime depends is starting to crumble.
In established authoritarian regimes such as Turkey and Russia, protesters
at mass demonstrations in cities are regularly beaten up by police and
other security forces to “make an example” and discourage others from
participating in the future.
There is also a newer way of punishing demonstrators which is used
alongside on-site physical violence: you leave people to protest so you can
surveil and track them and then you show up later to harass, beat up, or
arrest them. This is what the world’s largest surveillance state, Communist
China, did with many attendees of the 2022 lockdown protests.
ICE is now reportedly building a sophisticated surveillance system for
future “crowd control” featuring iris scanners, phone hacking, facial
recognition, and other tools. On-site tracking is another reason for the
expansion of ICE offices in many cities. They want to be “everywhere” not
just to terrorize, but to watch and record.

Like Father, Like Daughter Jane Fonda steps up just like her Dad did in a time of crisis! DemocracyNow (13:34) Jane Fonda has never been a shrinking violet, so it is not out of her character to relaunch a group that her father, Henry Fonda, had launched during another era of Republican led suppression in the early Cold War. While I don’t believe that we will be hearing any earth shaking news to emanate from this group, this does illustrate that the FIWH and his minions are reaching in to the lives and business of all walks of life in the US and beyond. From sowing fear throughout cities and towns as Americans declare war on other Americans with the blessing of a felonious President to farmers who will soon be harvesting a crop that they will be unable to sell thanks to royally screwed up policies, all walks of life feel the effects of Trump’s authoritarianism. Good luck, Jane. And good luck to every American who be facing the effects of Trumpism soon. ### Sharing is Caring! * Click to share on Bluesky (Opens in new window) Bluesky * Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook * Click to share on X (Opens in new window) X * Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest * More * * Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email * Click to print (Opens in new window) Print * Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn * Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit * Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr * Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window) Pocket * Like Loading...
