Thanks. I’m going to watch some baseball. #ParkChat
#baseballparkchat
LOL, probably not! She's more of a sports aficionado.... so maybe a pre- #ParkChat #BaseballParkChat with Tom!
Karen in Maryland, still here after #BaseballParkChat and hopefully using the correct hashtag! 😆 #ParkChat
A4. I will go to several High-A games at one of the best minor league ballpark.
Also am working on a Pittsburgh/Cincinnati trip with a friend who is Reds fan. #BaseballParkChat
Photo from River Bandits baseball.
That should be a fun time. It's always interesting to see games played at non MLB venues. #BaseballParkChat
Thanks for questions! Gets me thinking about #OriolesMagic and that this season might go further than last! #BaseballParkChat
Thanks for joining #BaseballParkChat tonight, grab a dog and a tasty beverage before Tom hosts #ParkChat in just a few minutes. Have a great night!
A4 #BaseballParkChat Nothing new in the works. Already have tickets to the Orioles game for a #404Family outing when the giveaway is a hockey jersey! It happens to be during my spring break and two days before @patred.bsky.social's birthday.
Wow, you got your money's worth at least. I did wear #13 in Little League because of Johnny Ray. Best we had at the time.
#BaseballParkChat
That will be interesting to watch. #BaseballParkChat
A4: No big travel plans so far for this season, but maybe some weekend trips to various minor league parks around Texas could be in the plans. #BaseballParkChat
Not a bad player to watch. I need to get to a live game there, just for the views. #BaseballParkChat
Q4: A Baseball game is a great way to relax and take in a new destination. Is there a stadium or team across any league you plan on visiting this season? #BaseballParkChat
Ripken is one of my all time favorites.
#BaseballParkChat
A3. Don't like the shift ban, ghost runner and larger bases and hand extender thing. I do like the balls/strikes challenge that they've set up in AAA
#BaseballParkChat
My first Mets game was vs the Pirates in 83. Johnny Ray hit a Grand Slam in the first inning, I had barley sat down. 🤣
Mets won both games of a doubleheader that day. 13 innings each game! #BaseballParkChat
And yeah, by force of habit, I tag it incorrectly! #BaseballParkChat
A2. Lack of Talent? 🤦♂️
#BaseballParkChat
A1. Same as always + Paul Skenes.
#BaseballParkChat
Dare I admit to being a Willie Stargell era Pirates fan? #BaseballParkChat
A3: The pitch clock and rules to speed up the game are good. Those 3.5 or 4 hour games were killing the TV crowd and fans would have to leave early to get home on those work or school nights. #BaseballParkChat
Q3: What rule changes over the past few seasons have caught your attention, for better or worse? #BaseballParkChat
A2 #BaseballParkChat Probably the same thing that hit them last season -- inconsistency. Everyone's bats get hot at the same time, and cool down at the same time. The team is still worlds better than anything in the past ten years, but they are still missing that last little spark.
A2 The loss of our rightfielder?😜
We got a few aging batters, need to tighten up our defense, etc, but should be ok. #baseballparkchat
Those are the guys I grew up with! And don't forget the Iron Man himself! #BaseballParkChat
A2: The starting rotation for my Mets is not deep and I expect a trade deadline deal to bring in that final arm needed during the stretch run. #BaseballParkChat #LGM #LFGM
Q2: What is most concerning that could hinder your team this season? #BaseballParkChat
I used to really like those early 80s O's. Weaver, Murray, Flannigan, Palmer. #BaseballParkChat
