Jimmi: To all concerned, please accept this as my resignation with immediate effect. I cannot, in all good conscience continue to work at The Mill under the recent changes in management, which I believe go against everything The Mill should be offering to both patients and staff in terms of best practice. The NHS is under constant vigilance and criticism from outside bodies, and to have these tactics ruthlessly repeated from within our own management structure is nothing short of abhorrent. It has created an atmosphere of misery, division and inequality amongst the staff, most of whom I have long considered family. Change for change’s sake is divisive and cruel, and goes against everything that we, as a caring profession, should uphold and protect. As such the heart has been torn from The Mill.
