My entire arm has been numb since October so I went to ER to have it checked today as per my family doctor's advice. The ER doctor only took interest in the fact that I have anxiety and am on medication for it... telling me this is all in my head and I should switch meds. Cool.

My 70 yo family member had abdominal surgery three days ago. They removed epidural and are transitioning to oral pain meds. She can’t take hydromorphone; oxy makes her stoned but doesn’t help the pain. Tramadol works but THEY DON’T HAVE IT. How does a hospital not have pain meds?? Omg
