(early) concept sketch of Freya (aka Yugo's lover). Freya has gone from a forestfolk who are a mixed of a feline and butterfly to a Pegi-Leopona (lion/pegasus) to a now Klyssia (Sea Serpent Beastani who resides by a large lake).

Concept sketch of Harper aka Regor. (Harper was suggested by @wynautwarrior) She was originally an adult male Rhyborge Beastani who aided the children, Oku and Ny'ran; but changed him into a teenage woman (16 years old) and be a older sister figure to the children. Especially Freya.

Concept of Ny'ran (first form). He was originally a dragonic Beastani with dragon bones as his armor. But I want him to be unique and different compared to my other dragons. I went with corvidade (a raven as it does represent his title as the Knight of Temperance) mixed with dragon features. He does have a lance as his primary weapon. His tail is his back up.

Concept of Ny'ran (dragon form). Ny'ran was originally a medieval dragon and had gone through a lot of changes. As before, I want him to be unique and different compared to my other dragons. With research, I went with a camel mixed with an Amphiptere dragon (camels represent his title as the Knight of Temperance). His arms are his wings as he can grow feathers in order for him to fly. Ny'ran breathes fire as his tail is his weapon in his dragon form.

With four down with Laszlo's guild, I got 3/(4) more heroes sketched and ready to be drawn.

Unlike many who are part fish, Laszlo has become the creature of the sea. So with his tail, who reassembles a gulper eel. With his new powers, Laszlo can explore the underwater world and fight many demons that claim their new territory. In the dark, Laszlo can illuminate his surroundings with his antennas to find many hidden secrets.

Laszlo is unique because of his tail. So I went with the idea between the Creature from the Black Lagoon and Lucca.

With the power of the sea, Yugo is able to survive underwater. The Grolar Simian can easily steal back treasure from greedy hunters with his enhanced speed underwater. The best part is that Yugo is adaptable in any water from normal and cold temperatures (I figured that Yugo being a seal merfolk would be best for him. He was born in a remote fishing village in the cold lands of Scaravaria before demons have invaded and destroyed everything (even later with Mugen caring for the boys). And he pretty much grew up in a pirates life at the sea.

I have the feeling that I am going for pirates this year. But I couldn't help it and Yugo fits the bill.

In the town of Malikan, Leo is considered to be the future protector of the remaining Garuko clan. However, because of the civil conflict after the Great Garuko have mysteriously died, The Garukos are divided into two factions, The Saberclaws Pack and The Moonbright Pack, as they try to force Leo to pick a side and protect their town as only one factor will be superior. Yet their plans fail as the boy successfully flees. Leo’s stress is his primary weakness as it causes him to transform into his uncontrollable beast form. Leo's favorite pastime is to learn magic and to master many powerful magic to protect himself and others. Despite the civil conflict, the young Garuko has empathy for the two factions as all have lost their respectable leader. But there's no room to mourn as their jealousy of leadership keeps becoming the problem.

The young werewolf magician who aides Laszlo and the others. Fun fact, Leo costume was originally going to be based on Black Mage from Final Fantasy. But I wanted to be a bit og with his get up.

One of the youngest members of the Skullanchor Pirates. He and his older brother (who mysteriously disappeared) Gero were the only survivors after the demons, lead by Lord Archezel, invaded and caused destruction of their home in Fredor. With his partner, a Winter Stox named Mugen, Yugo has the skills to not only survive but steal many valuables but with a catch. Yugo and Mugen only stole many valuables only from those who succumb to greed as they only help those who are in dire need. Mugen plays the role of a parental guardian as Yugo and his missing brother has lost his loved ones and home at 3, and he refuses to let the poor go without resources. However, Yugo has suffered from a mysterious stomach pain as the crew are in a race against time to find out what causes Yugo to be in so much pain.

Another hero of Laszlo's guild and the kindred thief, Yugo and his partner and father figure, Mugen the Winter Stox. Why a kindred thief? Here's their motto "Steal from the Greed, Give to the need".

A young boy who was raised by a well-known blacksmith in Tagaara Harbor. Every villager (with the exception of the mayor and his family) is sympathetic to Laszlo as he is the last surviving Chimera Beastani and possibly the descendant of the chosen seven champions of the Great Beast of Eros, The Knights of Virtues. Laszlo spends his time with his father while avoiding potential dangers hidden within Tagaara Harbor.

Before Tomo was created back in 2011, I created Laszlo in 2008. Laszlo is one of the 7 heroes of my story that I am currently developing.
