Eleven individuals are posed around a bar in this poster. The bar has a striped canopy with a flag showcasing the Cruiser Band logo pined on top. Underneath and around the background of the bar are advertisements for Miller Lite beer. In the right-hand corner are the words, “Cruiser Band Lubbock, Texas.”
The poster includes several images layered and patched together on the poster. At the top, the band name “Nuestra Tequila” is displayed in bubble letters. The first image is of a Sauza Extra Tequila bottle. The next is an image of the band members posed on a stage; six are standing while the other four are sitting on a stage, wearing the same black suit, white undershirt, and black bowties. To the right of that image is a bottle of Two Fingers Tequila Gold. Underneath those three images are several images of miscellaneous band members performing on stage playing various instruments, such as the saxophone and trumpet. The bottom of the poster depicts an El Toro Tequila bottle on its side underneath a cowboy hat. All the images are black-and-white.
These two posters are from Ben Bitela, the bassist and manager for Nuestra Tequila and Cruiser Band, two popular Lubbock-based groups in the 1970s-1980s.
