Three show people with a sunflower on green, one of them placing a poster on a pole. Several show people watching a video on a screen together. One shows a rabbit jumping into a portal between mushrooms. Three show me singing with guitar, in one case not alone. It starts with a man playing guitar in a circle of candles with an indigo woman behind him, touching his shoulders. Below them Lae’zel holds a knife to Dragon-Tavs THroat. Several show roleplaying sessions: a man getting downed by a barrel of wine thrown from above, people dining on a table with a stove, dragons flying above riders, a winged windling throwing food to a big bird. One shows eight people sitting around a table. Two show work: connected documents editing, creating, viewing. Several show screens with (Anime-) scenes, two show giving a lecture. Four with a screen: burning Karlach, planets in black, a hand and blood, a woman in coat in the green. Three sketches standing alone: a van where a woman jumps to avoid shotgun fire, a cave with guns, a pale horror, and a crazy escape into the sun, and the fearful face of a woman sourounded by black and floating eyes. Three are with a dog: the dog greeting, petting a hairy dog, a dog laying the head on my shoulder. Several are playing computer games and watching video, with a scene in a screen-frame. Four are from work: talking to a colleague, getting all tests green, getting good feedback from a customer, and a round-table meeting with a man and a cat nearby. Two are with the Guitar. Some show a blue rabbit or a blue wisp — both programming projects. Several are screens of games and movies. One is reviewing a paper. One close to the end is reading. It ends with the Baldurs Gate boat battle (throwing enemies into the water) below shopping in the sunday RPG session. If the days feel dark or gray to you right now — as mine felt when I started this — maybe sketching like this could be part of self-care that helps you get out. I remember more joy now. What ever may be a good path for you: if you feel like you’re drowning in gray, you should take *some* path to remember more of the best moments of your days. Please take care of yourself. Many days the best thing was swimming or going to the village celebration. Other days it was listening to audiobooks, especially qualityland. One was an uncle saying thank you for coming, two are kisses, three times it was dancing. Two others were work projects: improving diagrams and optimizing algorithms. Many are with the dog. It ends with playing the dark ending of Baldurs Gate 3 after patch 7 and turning the bg3 sketches into a video. If the days feel dark or gray to you right now — as mine felt when I started this — maybe sketching like this could be part of self-care that helps you get out. I remember more joy now. What ever may be a good path for you: if you feel like you’re drowning in gray, you should take *some* path to remember more of the best moments of your days. Please take care of yourself.
