A typical residential streetscape in Vancouver with cars parked on both sides and a narrow travel lane in the middle (aka a car canyon). The street is lined, however, with blooming cherry trees with pink blossoms as far as the eye can see.
So we did find some blossoms, and despite the overcast skies, it wasn't awful. The car canyons, though, those suck.

Another VULC social ride in the can. 20 km through the rolling hills (ahem) of East Van. By far the consensus was that riding along Slocan and E22nd (both designated bike routes!) were their favourite parts of the ride. 😒 #bikeyvr
First VULC Social Ride of 2026 happens today! We're taking a tour through East Van, looking for blossoms.
Although the route I've planned out has, uh, 43 turns so it'll be more of "Can Anthony not get the LC lost in East Van today?"
