I've seen those cure scrubbers sweep the bike lanes but this is first confirmed video I've seen a bike lane being plowed in Philly. #bikePHL

Partially delineated bike lane on the NW corner. The City and PennDOT opted for a suicide lane option here. Needs more flex posts as a minimum, people cycling or scooting around City Hall will usually take the inner lane instead.

Dear Friends,

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Thursday’s energetic Donor Event and to George Bochetto, our attorney, for graciously providing his office as our venue. It was a pleasure to meet so many of you, share our progress, and exchange ideas about strengthening our collective voice. We look forward to future events and hope many more of you will attend. We encourage you to read Stu Bykofsky’s column covering the evening.

A central theme of the night was the power of community. Without your involvement, FOPS could not be effective. In just a year, we’ve grown from a small group gathered around a kitchen table to a professional, determined organization that has successfully slowed down the City’s misguided plan for Pine and Spruceβ€”one that is unsafe, unnecessary, and unwanted. We’ve compelled the City to follow the law and have exposed the lack of evidence, analysis, or rationale behind installing physical barriers on our residential streets.

As we said at the event, here is what we continue to ask of all our supporters:

β€’ We need your patience. This is a process. We will continue to push for constructive change, monitor the City’s every move and act when necessary. There will be ups and downs, but our overall trajectory is positive.
β€’ Help us grow our base. Please talk to your friends and neighbors. Make it your goal to encourage 5 new people to join our movement.
β€’ Keep engaging with City officials. Your emails, attendance at hearings, and participation at events truly make a difference.
β€’ Volunteer with us. FOPS is expanding so we’ll need your help. Email us with your interests, skills, and how you’d like to pitch in. Tell us how you can contribute.
β€’ If you live west of Broad Street, please sign our petition addressed to CCRA.
β€’ Continue supporting us financially. We’ve spent over $100,000 a…

Wait how is one supposed to bike down the #Philadelphia Parkway from Mantua? I totally got lost trying to follow the bike infrastructure here. I was hoping for a lovely Parkway roll with the view of City Hall ahead, but instead...chaos and confusion lol. #bikesky #BikePHL
