One of my books, the seventh in the Nova Scotia Birder Mystery series and the one that introduces my latest heroine, Hannah Washington. I have in mind potentially two more books in the series before I retire it. #Books #Booksky #NovaScotia #Birderstories #Authors

I write to be read first and I do it via Amazon so, if they offend you (and they should), cheerio and sorry about that. My first book was called Coldhearted, a story inspired by my 'letting go' from a job in Canada. The story is set in Nottingham (I'll add England here, but there really is only one Nottingham that matters). I've now written five in the series, the first three are available individually or as a trio in one eBook for Kindle. My Nova Scotia birder series is now seven books long. I've put books one to three and four to six in the same multi-title format which allows you get nicely into the ongoing story. I've also written a sci-fi fantasy type thing which is set in the Harvesters Galaxy. The first two are 'omnibused', the third I'm writing, eventually. I have a few other titles out there, including twenty-odd birding travelogues and stand alone novels such as the profoundly silly 'War and Peas' and 'Cuckoo', a birder story that is not a part of the Nova Scotia collection. The last novel I'll mention is called 'Survivor' and it's quite dark but, I think, very compelling. If you got this far, thanks for taking the time. You can find everything I've published on Amazon and while I accept that they are shits, I'm using them to publish books that would otherwise not see daylight.

I don't mention my writing very often and even though you can skip merrily past, I still feel as if I'm intruding a bit. More details are in alt-text if you're interested. #Books #writing #birderstories #novascotia #nottinghamdetective

I smile looking back on the fact I had a pet crow growing up ❤️ what an amazing experience that I'll forever cherish. What better bird to be my "Spark" bird?! #ThrowbackThursday #birderstories #startemyoung

I'm 32 now and love birds and not only that but I respect them & have a good understanding.
