It was great to meet #BirdObservatory representatives from across the British Isles and Ireland this weekend at the annual #BirdObservatoriesCouncil meeting. Many of these sites host breeding #seabirds, and it was a chance to talk SMP with those conducting vital long-term bird monitoring. #UKbirding

We’ve done very poorly for young woodpigeon here this year, the first year since I started here that we’ve only had two confirmed broods so far. It’s a shame, as we do quite well for them usually. Anyone else experiencing this?
