LLS caught what appears to be an #Osprey Duet today at 1521!

A group of Osprey is called a Duet since these solitary birds only come together when mating, keeping their partner for life.

The Deep Listening Station has been set out in the park as of 0005. It will record until retrieval at 1600 12/31/24.

DLS is a #BirdweatherPUC on a tripod that I stash somewhere in Hammock Park to survey an area normally inaccessible to the Live Listening Station, another static PUC running 24/7.
