Just realized I haven't updated this in forever. I finished the jacket a while back, and have nearly finished the accompanying dress. The dress needs something...beads, maybe? Gotta cover up a mistake at the collar too, and beads would work in that regard. #bjdsewing #bjd

Here’s how it’s going! I found a really cute cotton lace and made sleeves and skirt with it. I still need to sew the closure but she’ll have a little train with a red bow.
I also discovered I can use a colored top thread on the machine for some nice accents~

I was sad this morning, so kept myself busy redoing the sleeves and sewing the side seams together today. It's so nice when the project starts to come together! Now comes the outer piping and assembly. I think this will be very cute when done! Now, which girl will wear it? #bjdsewing #bjd

I put the sleeves on wrong. I'm so irritated. I could just continue on, but the interior won't be as finished and it will gnaw at me. Anyway, have some pre-mistake progress shots!

A ball jointed doll modeling a dress I’m making, similar to the last one in red with white lace but with a white collar made of teeny tiny pom poms, and white lace decoration on the bodice, with a longer pleated skirt just below the knees. this dress is not finished yet! It’s a work in progress.

Worst quality picture ever but here’s more WIP of the second dress for the other Cascabel! This time, the pleated skirt is longer and has a different design although using the same lace for consistency. They’ll be sisters!
