Orange-tip butterflies are out & about now & common at Garn Lakes, #Blaenavon where they enjoy the cuckoo flowers which decorate the fields. The unmistakable call of the cuckoo drifting across the lakes makes it very clear how these flowers acquired their name. #Wales #nature #butterflies #wildlife
Interested in the mining history of Wales? Maybe consider to visit #Blaenavon and the #Big Pit National Coal Museum. It gives a very good impression and it is very worthwhile to spend a few hours there.
