thinking of post-game #bloodvow after a fight one night and they go to bed wordlessly. zil can't sleep and he thinks astarion is asleep so he quietly gets out of bed to think about everything, maybe take a walk. he's gone for a while that astarion starts to worry.

ten years do seem like norhing for a couple of ageless people, but i think after the game and what they both have gone through, #bloodvow have learned that actively trying to be better people with each other's support do help with processing trauma. they know they're beyond lucky for that.

i feel like i've posted about it before but i forgor... the #bloodvow house in malatra originally belonged to zil's parents that they hoped to return to.

so when zil and astarion went inside for the first time and saw an empty room, that was supposed to be zil's 🥹
