I walked to the box when neither parent was spooked from the box so not much disturbance and took about a minute to do these. Note that we had 5 eggs but only 4 hungry mouths. Various possibilities include failed egg, failed hatching, dead hatchling or just tired. As I plan no close look, time will tell and it may not be till post fledging or ever that we get a decent idea. This 4 mouths is not unusual from the 5 eggs. I was slow in getting here as they probably hatched on Friday+/-
