First panel: a person with pink hair and a blue sweater gestures at some milk tea floating near them. Also drawn are some fairy lights and two Chibi versions of the persons friends resembling a bear and a clown. The text reads: my friends and I checked out a milk tea place we hadn’t gone too last night around 9…
Second panel showcases the same person seated on the floor, huddled around a home depo orange waste basket, with a plastic trash bag lining. They are throwing up green sparkling vomit. Behind them is the wall and a pinkish curtain. The text reads: …and by 2 am I was puking my guts out into my home depot trash bucket.
The third panel shows the same person, this time hunched over on their bed cradling their stomach face down. The bed spread has little dark green leaves and orange flowers on it, there is also an orange blanket by the foot of the bed. Around the person are red explanation points. Their glasses lay on the floor, off and away from the bed and face, to show they have taken them off. The glasses contain the characters eye expressions furrowed in pain as a cartoon gag.
The text reads: we think it was food poisoning.
The second page has four non traditional panels. The first two panels share one text box.
The first panel is of a toilet, with a personified sad face, a tear runs down its face and we see a bomb heading towards/into the toilet. There is a small speech bubble saying sorry with a sad face from nowhere in particular.
The second panel is stitched into the right side. The color of the background contains the paper texture it was originally drawn on. We have the same pink haired character looking miserable with a thermometer in their mouth, chills, and sweat dripping down their face. They have the orange blanket wrapped around them now.
The text box reads: I got fever, chills, threw up 3-4 times, then destroyed the toilet in the morning vomiting out of my other end.
The next text reads: one friend got diarrhea (post hemorrhoid recover too) and the other ended up with a gout flair up.
We see the same bear and clown referenced earlier. This time they are fully drawn. The bear is brown with a light turquoise shirt, they have red exclamation points around their tummy and rumbly noise lines. The clown had black hair, a red nose and a stripped red and white jumpsuit with a yellow flower and red shoes. The right shoe is more swollen than the left one and has exclamation points around the toe, referencing the gout pain.
The last panel has two text boxes. It showcases the character on their side now, curled up with two blankets, the orange one and a new purple one. They are staring off angrily. Their face smushed against their hand and pillows.
Next text box says: can’t even sleep because I keep choking on my saliva so just laying in bed, chugging Gatorade, making this comic.
Last text box says: Anyways, fuck whoever made that batch of drinks, your moms a hoe and may your next bowel movement unleash a literal demon. Right below this text box is a little turd demon, a poop with horns and a mischievous face and the words turd demon pointing to it.
Could have been a budding cold mixed with the food poisoning that just made it hit me way worse, but anyways~still bed ridden~
