I'm going to call this done. It's not perfect, it's not even great, but I tried something new and relearned how to do basic lighting.
Now I'm going to go for a walk and stop using my arms for the rest of the day. :p

I decided to make a new book for Mismagius. I looked at V1 and hated how sloppily I made it and wanted to do better.
Plus I needed a reason to practice with lights! It's been a long time.

Debating on the front details. I think the two big pieces around the center disk is too much, so maybe I'll do small round pieces instead, lik v1? I'll take input lol.

One new technique I did for this costume was making my own bias tape. Naturally I wanted 2" wide for the body, which means it was cut at 8" wide! The sleeves are 1".
Second new technique was beading. Even doing a decorative edge like this was very informative.

Sleeve beading for Mismagius is done. I'll have to remove the lining unfortunately, since something happened to one side that left the cut too high to reach the bias.

Experimenting with beading. I have a future cosplay that I'd like to add some too, and my smaller projects are always meant to experiment with.
I never stopped to think that round beads would be difficult to get to lay flat, so I went with little arches.
