here’s my deep sea volcanic paladin, made for @sleepywyrmed.bsky.social ‘s #bookofdevotion

(I wanted to make a Paladin that was sewing, knitting and spinning based with one of my favorite helmet shapes the frog mouth)

A fullbody piece of a paladin holding a sword and a shield, looking a bit like a medieval book drawing. The paladin has an organic, hardened magma looking armor, one half is blue and the other half is red. The sword and shield both have faces and they seem to be singing, the sword is invoking a fire meteor directed at a big monster that's snarling at the character while the shield seems to be bringing a dead rabbit back to life.

The ominous fellow I did for #BookofDevotion by @sleepywyrmed!

Since his deity represented perfectionism and toxic mastery of one’s skills, I thought this paladin should have been an arena duelist with an incredibly fragile armour.

A large tiefling or firbolg man stands looking right, legs straight, his left hand outstretched to hold a greataxe doubling as a shovel, and right hand in a fist at his hip. He is covered in heavy orange cloths and extremely intricate, burnished gold and brass armor. Even his toes are armored, with large pieces of candelabras, lanterns, clocks, and chandeliers making up his armor. His face is covered with a three-part theatrical mask, obscuring his own expressions; instead, a frown and a grin can be seen. His large pontifical headpiece and pauldron are covered in melted wax and burning candles.
