I read the first book in this series overnight, but this one took me a couple weeks because all the secondary characters were fuzzy in my memory which definitely impacted my reading experience.

I enjoyed this duology. A little YA, a little political, and of course a good dose of witch-hunter romance. An approachable fantasy manual for building unlikely alliances in the face of authoritarianism.
